Hello, again! It’s been a while.
After neglecting my fitness page this year, I’ve been working on fresh content and will be posting more regularly. Get ready for some truth and empowerment 🙌🏻
To be transparent, I have felt stuck in a season of overwhelm, inconsistency, pain, hopelessness, fear, and disappointment but also presence, experience, joy, gratitude, resilience and genuine connection with others.
It’s easy to have a fixed mindset on the negative. Yes, it’s easier to keep your current thought patterns than CHANGE. Growth will be hard. Saying no to some things for a better yes will be hard. Surrendering the control that you think you have will be VERY hard. Sometimes, getting through each day will be the most that you can do.
I promise if you start using your struggles as a way to gain personal power over what you CAN change, it will produce radical acceptance and joy. Repetition of positive affirmations and a little self-compassion can go a long way.
Daily habits like telling yourself “I am resilient”, “I am courageous”, “I am loved”, “I am enough” will start to re-frame your perspective and eventually manifest into action and habit.
Move your body, read something challenging, take mindful breaths and please, stop beating yourself up for what you did or didn’t do yesterday. I’m here for you and we can work on becoming better together. ✌️
Mindset on change is what health and wellness is really about.
