-Maryland Self Health Certification
-Current Negative Coggins (must be legible—we need to record dates, addresses, and test numbers)

Out-of-State Barns (PA, WV, VA, etc.)
If your barn is located outside of Maryland, you must have the following:
-Maryland Self Health Certification
-Current Negative Coggins (must be legible—we need to record dates, addresses, and test numbers)
-60-Day CVI (Certificate of Veterinary Inspection/Health Certificate) completed by your veterinarian
-Howard County Fair Hold Harmless Agreement
Paperwork Check-In
All paperwork will be checked at the new gate leading to the horse show ring before any horses are allowed off the trailer. Please arrive early to allow enough time for the inspection and avoid feeling rushed.
Please note: Horses coming from the same barn may be listed on the same Self Health Certification and the same VCPR.
Fair Week Reminders
Howard County Fair allows two people per horse to accompany each showing horse. Both individuals must arrive with the horse.
No non trailer vehicle parking is permitted at the show rings during Fair Week. Please plan to arrive early and, whenever possible, ride in the vehicle towing the trailer to avoid parking issues.
We do not control the fair entrance gates, so please allow extra travel time.
No dogs are allowed on the fairgrounds during Fair Week. Please leave them at home.
To help speed up the check-in process, completed health paperwork may be emailed to [email protected] by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5.
Only cash or checks (made payable to HCF) will be accepted for payment.
