For 10 years, Colleen Belmonte has experience working with students ranging in ages 4 through 12. Social Skills for Success LLC was started as a way to meet the needs of underserved children and focuses on strengthening their reading, writing, and social skills. Colleen Belmonte is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She holds a certification in Reading Recovery, Elementary Education and Sp
ecial Education as well as a Supervisor certification. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education with a concentration in Special Education. With experience as a classroom teacher and Reading Recovery teacher as well as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Colleen has provided behavioral and academic consultations and training to school districts and families. Colleen has particular interest in working with children to meet their full potential and to learn the necessary skills to engage with their peers and friends successfully. Additionally, Colleen is interested in working intensely with children one-on-one to promote reading strategies that are proven to be successful through 30 years of research with the Reading Recovery intervention. Her professional experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a teacher exemplifies her understanding and dedication to learners, family collaboration, social skills, reading skills, and the importance of applied behavior analysis.
