Help us raise money for the Forks Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department

The 3rd Annual BBQ Dinner Fundraiser is on Saturday, June 13th from 4–10pm.

$30 gets you pulled pork, beans, coleslaw, mac & cheese, and cornbread. Every dollar from dinner plates goes straight to WFFD.

Plus raffles all night, including a 50/50 drawn at 8pm. Come hungry, leave feeling good about it.

Who’s ready for Huge Water?! Our first “Turbine Test” is this Saturday June 13.

We have limited space available if you’re looking to tackle the biggest rapids in New England.

If you can’t make that one, extend your 4th of July weekend with the next 8,400 CFS release on Monday July 6th.

Otherwise, you’ll be waiting until September to get in on the action.

As always, these special releases come with a Lobster Bake River Lunch.

We’re BACK to 5 nights a week! 🎉🍺 Boatman’s Bar and Grill is now open 4pm-11pm on weekdays and 4pm-1am on weekends.

8 days. 24 trainees. 155 rafts. 172 river miles.

Those numbers are impressive, but they don’t come close to telling the full story.

This crew experienced it all. The long days, the cold, the bugs, the steps, the swims, the fear, the strokes and, of course, the stoke.

It is a privilege to watch humans like these come into this program and grow into river guides. This is the end of their training class, but the beginning of a whole new world.

Thank you to Donny, Jack, Emma, Mike, Katie, Kenny, Crystal, Kevin, Dylan, Maisie, Zach, Sadie, Hannah, Kenzie, Josh, Nate, Logan, Shauna, Adam, Evelina, Brian, Owen, Caleb, and Sam(mon) for the huge amount of effort this week.

Watch them lift their final boat of training after a stellar day on the Dead River!

We’re 5 days into our Maine River Guide Training Course. We started with 30 trainees, making it our biggest training class ever. We’re now down to 24.

Each day of training is full. 6:30am start time. On the river from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Class time running past 9pm. It requires everything you’ve got.

With 3 days left, we are building on the fundamentals taught during the 1st half of the course. There’s still lots of hard work (and swimming) to be done, but we’re really proud of what this crew has accomplished so far.

Bow princess - it’s the “coolest” place to sit. Especially on a day like this.

Respect to our good friend for fully committing to the camera…even after getting smoked by Hayden’s Landing on the Dead River.

She has lead the on Spring rafting trips that past few years. We love getting these college kids to paddle the longest stretches of whitewater in New England!
