Skate refresh over a lot of the terrain this morning. I did not go above the briar patch cutoff above the hut this morning because it was dirty yesterday. It should still ski well over the top and down wild acres. I tried to smooth some of the lumps from the end of pisten bully grooming yesterday, but pay attention on rock slide and Fred's forest. The skiing is getting soft already, but morning skis over the next few days should be awesome. We'll revisit things on Friday with the hope that cold temps overnight will make the skiing on Saturday pretty good.

We went out this morning, and we're able to use the Piston Bully to do much of the system. It unfortunately got warm enough that snow started to pack up in the tiller so we came back and took the roller out to finish up. Conditions are variable with some dirty patches up high, and some wavy sections where the snow was building up. We set track on Windrow, Buzzsaw to the cutoff and back on Fred's over to the tear drop and then down Tote road, rock slide. The airport also has a skate lane rolled and one track around the perimeter. Get out and enjoy! It's pretty amazing out there. We'll look at conditions tonight and we may refresh in the morning tomorrow.

March 14-15 trail report:
COME TO TITCOMB MTN.!!! This pic is Friday 4 pm on Ridge Road below the Cocoa Hut! I groomed about 5-6K between the Stadium and the Hut, the coverage is amazing! Yeah, there are some open spots in a few places, but nothing impassable and the early grey icy spots groomed up nicely today! The little snow in the forecast should make for some fantastic skiing this weekend! Expect classic to be better Saturday unless the fresh snow is under 2”… and we will comb trails once it gets cold Saturday night for skate or classic on Sunday. The exit of Wild Acres by the Pony Lift melted out this week, stop at the woods opening if you descend it, or use Ramdown/Pony Slope to return down. The upper ridge & summit lost some base, so be careful descending if you haven’t gone up first to scope out the coverage. We skied over 6-8K both Th & Fr — it’s fast and fun!

Did a full refresh on the Airport (see pic from Friday evening), and I skied some of the trails I groomed Thursday evening… it is EXCELLENT! The only place not groomed Thu/Fri is Cedar Swamp and outer Turnpike, but we skied it Friday under the lights and the classic tracks were great and the skating was good, so I opted not to mess with it, as it’s getting thin in spots and the benefits of grooming didn’t outweigh the costs for today. The warm temps coming will make for some soft slow skiing, and we probably won’t run the Ginzu around to comb skate lanes until (or unless!) the snow dries out in late afternoon/evening on those days. We will try to let you know here just as soon as we have any news to report. Thanks for your patience, trying to fix the Nordic sled tomorrow to get the Ginzu work ready!

March 6, 2026:
FRESH GROOMING LAST NIGHT — took the PB100 and did skate lanes and some fresh classic tracks on most of the mountain… did NOT get onto Ramdown, Cliffhanger, Log Chute, Cedar Swamp (outer Turnpike), and Airport. Would’ve finished it then but had a maintenance issue so had to quit after 2 hours. Sorry for the inconvenience, hoping to finish the rest today and then with the warm weather coming this weekend we will probably get put on hold for a bit... but the base is deep and not disappearing overnight, so get out and enjoy the spring skiing!

03/04/2026

We won't be able to get out and groom today. The snow is consolidating quickly so the skiing should be okay. Classic tracks should be excellent. Watch the downhills as the new snow won't be bonded to the old icy base.

03/03/2026

Things are pretty firm out there at the moment. We refreshed the skate lanes over almost all the trails with the exception of Cliffhanger and Log Chute. Fresh classic tracks on the airport and outer turnpike. Hoping for a little fresh snow to soften things up a bit, but the next few days should be great skiing!

03/01/2026

Hi all, I apologize for not putting up any new grooming info this weekend. We're hoping to groom late today after it gets cold again, which hopefully will yield some good skiing for the next few days. We will likely try to refresh things with light grooming whenever the weather allows over the course of the coming week. Things are a little on the icy side at the moment, but will probably soften today with the sun. Stay tuned for more info.

Truly an inspiration to us all, I wish everyone knew what she has accomplished!

Today, I set the record for most World Cups raced in history - but here’s what I am actually most proud of:

🫶🏻 It takes an amazing team and a ton of support to race this long, and I feel like the luckiest person in the world because of how my team has helped me through highs and lows!

❤️‍🩹 It takes a healthy body to race this hard for this long. Getting my mental health on track so my physical health could thrive was the key to not only racing for a long time, but racing with joy.

👏🏼 Every 👏🏼 Single 👏🏼 Race was on skis. The way they have supported my big dreams is incredible!

✨ I got to high five a ton of glittery little kids today before our race and seeing the way that joy-and glitter-is shared (no matter how old you are!) makes me proud of what I stand for.

Feb 23, 2026:
The new snow is still in awesome shape, no icy crust yet, even with the bright sunny days! We will try to do a little skate lane rejuvenation with the Ginzu over the next couple days, and set some more tracks for classic, too. This is a great week forecast for great February skiing! Don't delay, the spring corn snow (which, honestly, is super fun skiing, too!) is approaching in a couple more weeks, so enjoy the powder while it lasts!
All the best from Team OMG
