Ready to learn, grow, and glide with confidence?

Learn to Skate registration is OPEN for ages 3 through Adult! Whether you’re taking your very first steps on the ice or building toward more advanced skills, this progressive program focuses on Agility, Balance, Coordination, and Speed while developing skating fundamentals like edge work, forward and backward skating, balance, and more.

📅 Sessions begin Wednesday, September 23 and/or Saturday, September 26
🚨 Registration deadline: Monday, September 21

• Register for the skating LEVEL you’re currently at, not the class time you want.
• Skate rental is NOT available

A Morning of Movement, Connection & Community!

Today’s A Walk in the Park & Senior Lifestyle Expo brought our 55+ community together for fresh air, movement, connection, and plenty of fun. From enjoying a walk outdoors to visiting the Senior Lifestyle Expo at Rustad Recreation Center, it was a great morning focused on staying active, healthy, and connected.

Registration is Open for the FM Youth Basketball League! 🏀

West Fargo Park District is proud to be part of this exciting league featuring more than 100 teams from across the FMWF area and surrounding communities. Players will build their skills, learn teamwork and good sportsmanship, and have fun along the way!

Season Details:
• Player Evaluations: September 28 & 29
• Practices begin October 5 — 2 per week
• Games begin October 24 — 6 Saturdays, 2 games per weekend
• Registration: $175
• Late Registration: $200 beginning September 5

Please note: Travel is required and teams may travel as far as Valley City or Hawley depending on their game schedule.

A special thank you to Scheels and the Fargo-Moorhead Youth Basketball League for helping make this basketball season possible!

The Rustad Recreation Center will be closed Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

We’ll reopen Tuesday, September 8, when our Fall + Winter Hours officially begin!

Calling all hockey players! Join us for our BRAND NEW Advanced Hockey Power Skating class! ⛸️

Take your skills to the next level while becoming more proficient, powerful, and agile on the ice. Classes will focus on advanced hockey edges, footwork, stance, power, and speed.

Learn from experienced, certified Learn to Skate instructors and build the skills you need to become a stronger and more confident skater!

⭐ Skaters must have passed Basic 6 or have equivalent skills to enroll. If your skater has not yet passed Basic 6, please register for the appropriate Basic Skills level.
