Welcome back to Noble Legends!
Today we profile another talented player from Class of '96 - Tyshaun Whitson.
Standing at 6'6" in the 1990's Tyshaun was a sight to behold. Lining up at Defensive End for the Nobles he probably drew more double-teams than any other defensive lineman, and still found a way to cause havoc for offenses. After his time at Nogales Tyshaun went on to have quite the football career. It began with two seasons at Pasadena City College before earning a Division 1 scholarship to attend Baylor University in Texas where he started on offense at Right Tackle for the Bears in the '99 & 2000 seasons. He then went on to sign a contract with the NFL's Washington Redskins. Following his time in the NFL Tyshaun went on to play in the Arena Football League from 2002-2007 for a number of teams including the Grand Rapids Rampage, Las Vegas Gladiators, Utah Blaze, and Kansas City Brigade. After Football, Tyshaun made the transition to Professional Wrestling, appearing as Tyshaun Prince, where he became the two-time Future Stars of Wrestling Heavyweight Champion in 2012 & 2013. He also wrestled for a number of professional leagues including EWF, IWF, PPW, and WCWF before retiring in 2015.

Today on Noble Legends we're taking a look at another player from the Class of '96, #1 Kenya Dorsey. Another 3-year starter for the Nobles, Kenya was featured in a dynamic backfield next to Demetrius Stampley. Wearing numbers #1 & #2 Dorsey & Stampley were equally as dangerous. Kenya's running style was like watching a bull loose in a crowd. He was fast, powerful, and watching his film you rarely see one defender bring him down alone. He could also play defense, notching a number of sacks from the DE position as a Sophomore. The Nobles reached the CIF playoffs in both his Junior & Senior years behind a nearly unstoppable option-style rushing attack.
It should also be noted that Kenya is the younger brother of another Noble Legend, Lamonte Adams, and he is currently the Assistant Coach at King-Drew High School in Los Angeles.

This week on Noble Legends we're taking a look at Class of '96's Demetrius Stampley.
A 3 year Varsity starter at both Runningback & Defensive Back, on offense Stampley was best known for his shifty moves, breakaway speed, and a high step running style which he used to pull away from defenders. He was also an excellent receiver out of the backfield. On Defense he was a ballhawk with a knack for picking off opposing Quarterbacks.
Stampley could run, catch, and defend, and his unique skill-set earned him a Football scholarship to Cal Berkeley where he primarily played Runningback, while also seeing time as a Wide Receiver and a Defensive Back for the Golden Bears.

On this episode of Noble Legends we take a look back at Class of 94's Lance Davis.
As a 3-year Letterman for Nogales Football Lance played all over the field. On offense he spent time as a Wide Receiver and a Fullback, and on defense he played everything from Linebacker to Safety.
A literal one man wrecking crew, on defense he lead the '93 team in tackles. Offensively he was once named the Los Angeles Times Prep Player of the Week for a dominating performance in which he scored 5 touchdowns in one game by rushing for 3 touchdowns, scoring on an 85-yard kickoff return, and scoring on an 80-yard interception return. Lance's 5 TDs in one game is still a Nogales record, which was tied in 2017 by Frankie Ibarra, but never broken. Following High School Lance went on to San Diego State University where he played football for the Aztecs.
