Member of the Week: Nichole Stirton, 40 (Happy Birthday 5/3!)
If you’ve been to the gym in the mornings, you’ve probably met Nichole. She has been a faithful attender over the past year and a half, often completing 1.5 hours of various cardio machines each session plus some resistance training. She has one of the best attitudes in the gym. Blind since early in life, Nichole continues to show incredible determination and has become a great inspiration to many!
Drop her a note of encouragement and we will share any comments with her!
Nichole’s First Fitness experience:
“I got started about a year ago. It took me a little while to adjust, but after a couple months I felt comfortable. I started out with a personal trainer from CMorrFitness and really enjoyed that. Since then, I have built up a lot of muscle and strength. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my stamina as well, no more mid-walk rest breaks!
Overall, I feel much more confident about myself. I have more energy, sleep better, and my doctor even noted positive changes in my blood work at my last physical.”
Her Tip/Encouragement to others:
“Keep going! Don’t quit. You will see changes if you stick with it. Even if it doesn’t show on the scale, you will still feel better.”
Something she likes about the gym:
“The nice equipment and friendly people!”
