Closing out 2025. 🥂 💫 ☺️🩷 (📸 from this past summer)

As I close out 2025, I am filled with emotions. There’s a sigh of relief—we made it! At the same time, I feel uncertainty about what has occurred and what lies ahead. Yet, through it all, I have gratitude, excitement, and high hopes about the coming year.

Entering 2026, I feel stronger and more resilient. I am committed to actively supporting the causes I believe in, ready to accept whatever comes with the understanding that, come what may, everything will be okay.

I love my work and the teams I work with. While we have ambitious goals, I am confident that we will reach them because they are amazing.

I am grateful for my health and that of my loved ones, especially after overcoming setbacks due to illness and injury. The support of my love 🩷, family, and very dear friends has been invaluable, providing strength during both joyful and challenging times. 🥰

This year has brought significant change within my family as well, which have, though tough, ultimately strengthened our connections.

I’ve had a fantastic time teaching fly casting lessons and giving presentations, which I love.

One of my goals was to take my dad to Iceland, and that dream became a reality. I also ventured to sunny Central America and tried surfing for the first time 🏄 , Canada, Long Island, NY 🎣, Sedona 🌵 , and to the Grand Canyon for a challenging adventure-hiked the ‘Rim to the River!’ 🏜️💪

As I look forward to 2026, I have goals and intentions. Resetting—refocusing on self-care and prioritizing mental and physical health. The rest will come. Here’s to new adventures in the year ahead—let’s go!

All the best to you and yours. ☀️ 😎

Montauk, NY. I never could have imagined the power and beauty of the False Albacore fish, or, as some say, ‘Falsies’ or ‘Albies.’ They took me into my backing in less than five seconds! Not to mention casting a fly rod as we were tossed about in a braceless boat while floating in the rough water. 🌊 🛥️ Forget trying to avoid rocking the boat while you cast; try casting while the boat is already rocking. 😂 It took some time for this lady to recover. ☺️ I loved sharing the experience and the challenge of it! And what a pretty fish. Did you know their fins can either retract into their bodies or lie perfectly flat against them, creating ultimate hydrodynamics? They also can’t breathe unless they’re moving in the water. Interesting and cool! And they’re so fast!

Very delayed post.
