Hunny took a little break from birdhouses and build a really cool bat house. He recycled an old closet door. Hopefully the bats will like it and eat all the bugs to say thanks. Also hopefully he will leave me some closet doors in the house….

Update from the pigeon infirmary: Peep peep seems to be making a good recovery from her injury, but she’s not ready for real flying yet, just short hops. Baby Huey still has some of his baby fuzz but he’s enormous! Shows no inclination for flight whatsoever. The good news is that they have become best buddies and spend most of their time snuggling together.
The real question now is, if a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, what will you give me for two in the hand?
