We had a great session yesterday with Kevin Finn, author of Peak Performance Table Tennis. He walked us through several exercise routines designed to strengthen the muscles, increase agility and reflexes to improve performance in the sport. All of the participants saw the benefits of the exercises and Dr. Marius Wechsler said "This training is key to any serious coaching program as well."

Hello Table Tennis fans,

This is John Wooten, Tournament Coordinator for SJISC. We have decided not to host a tournament this month, due to vacations and other commitments that require our attention. We are planning to resume the tournament schedule in August, on the 3rd week of each month, as we hope to finish up the year strong. We certainly hope that you will join us on August 20th for our next tournament. If you have not participated in a tournament before, you are missing an opportunity to compete and enhance your skills. Please give it some thought, we know you’ll enjoy it. If you have entered events before, then you know what a fun and entertaining time it is as you’ll get to compete with other players who enjoy the sport. For those who have not visited the facility before, everyone who has come out agrees that it is one of the premier Table Tennis facilities in South Jersey.
