We came to race - we had some great practice laps - then Mother Nature said NOT TODAY!

🏁 THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR TUESDAY NIGHT RACE SERIES! 🏁

What a season! This Tuesday night karting series has been AMAZING from start to finish!

And honestly… to think this is only my SECOND YEAR KARTING and I was lining up against drivers who have been doing this for YEARS… I’m pretty dang proud of what we accomplished! 💪

So let’s recap Tuesday night racing:

🏆 12 TOTAL RACES

🥇 4 FIRST PLACE FINISHES
🥈 3 SECOND PLACE FINISHES
🥉 1 THIRD PLACE FINISH
🏅 4 FOURTH PLACE FINISHES

And all of that adds up to…

🔥 SECOND PLACE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP! 🔥

P2 OVERALL! 🥈🏆

I’ve learned SO much this season — about racing, about myself, about pushing through tough nights, and most importantly, about never giving up when things don’t go exactly how you planned. Shout out to Cale for coaching me and giving me the advise and confidence in my driving abilities (Legacy Driver Development )

To say I’m BEYOND PROUD of myself would be an understatement. ❤️

But we’re not done yet…

The Tuesday championship is officially in the books, and now the focus shifts to the SATURDAY SERIES!

I am so locked in on racing for the championship that I forgot to post my recap on Tuesday!

Heat 1: started on the pole so P1 -> P1

Heat 2: was inverted so I started In the back!
Drove my heart out and went from P14 -> P5

Feature: started P2 and was killing it - then I got passed with 2 laps to go and finished P2. 🥈

TONIGHT I am racing for the championship - wish me luck. But in the end if I take 1st or 2nd I have to remind myself this is only my 2nd year racing and I am doing really good job!

🔥 RACE DAY SATURDAY RECAP! 🏁

What a way to wrap up Saturday! We had some work to do, but we kept pushing all day and finished STRONG! 💪🔥

🏎️ CADET

Heat 1: P1 ➡️ P1
Throwing down the fastest lap and holding onto that top spot!

Heat 2: P13 ➡️ P3 🔥
After the inverted start put me all the way in P13, I had to put my head down and DRIVE! Worked my way through the field and brought it home P3!

FEATURE: P2 ➡️ P1 🏆
LET’S GOOOOO! Made some clean passes, stayed focused and moved into P1 for the WIN! 🥇🔥

🏎️ MINI

Heat 1: P4
Not my best heat, but we shook it off and got back to work!

Heat 2: P4 ➡️ P3 💪

FEATURE: P3 ➡️ P2 🥈
After waiting out the rain, it was finally time to race! We took advantage of the opportunity and finished P2!

🏁 ROUTE 66 RACE RECAP — THE HIGHS, THE LOWS & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN! 🏁

Sorry for the delay on this post. I needed a few days to process the really HIGH HIGHS… and then the crashing-down LOWS from this weekend. 😔

🏎️ SPORTSMAN

WHAT A CLASS OF TALENTED DRIVERS! 🔥

The top 5 karts in this class were QUICK, and I was determined to keep right up with them. I spent the race running around that P6 position, keeping my head in the game and pushing every lap.

I ended up finishing P7 out of 22 incredible drivers — and I was PUMPED! 💪

That was a HUGE accomplishment in such a competitive class, and I know I belong up there fighting with those guys!

🏎️ MICRO SWIFT

I absolutely LOVE racing this kart! ❤️

Sunday recap:

⚡️Warm Up — 2nd fastest kart in the class

🔥 Heat 2 — Running P3 and finished P3

🏁 Feature — I had P2 lap times and even laid down the fastest lap at one point! I just couldn’t get a good enough run around that P2 kart and ended up finishing P3.

And let me tell you… I WAS PUMPED! 🤩

P3 at Route 66 was HUGE! Last Route 66 race in this same kart, I finished P5. This year, I made some BIG improvements and was right there fighting for the top spots.

Then came THE LOW OF THE LOW. 💔

During tech, I was DQ’d because of the squish test — there was too much carbon buildup in my motor.

I WAS DEVASTATED.

It was especially tough because I knew how hard I had worked all weekend and how strong my driving had been. The squish test ended up being an issue for several drivers at the track this weekend, which made an already tough situation even harder.

I needed a few days to process it.

But after thinking about it, here’s what I KNOW:

I WORKED MY BUTT OFF.
I KILLED IT IN SPORTSMAN.
I KILLED IT IN MICRO.
I SHOWED THAT I CAN RUN WITH THE BEST.
AND I KNOW I HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE COMPETITIVE. 🔥

A DQ doesn’t erase the laps.
It doesn’t erase the speed.
It doesn’t erase the work.
And it definitely doesn’t erase the progress.

Sometimes racing gives you the biggest highs… followed by the hardest lessons.

And I’m going to take this one, learn from it, and come back HUNGRIER. 💪🏁

DAY 2 of ROUTE 66 @ Road Americas Motorplex recap!

🏁 SPORTSMAN 🏁

This class is intense and the top drivers are amazing drivers and tough to beat - this class has 22 drivers - that’s a lot of drivers and intimidating - but I held my own and at the end of the day in Heat 1 I finished 6th right behind all the really fast karts so I am VERY happy with 6th!

🏁 MICRO SWIFT 🏁

I really love running this class it’s a lot of fun!

I qualified 2nd throwing down great lap times.
Rolling into Heat 1 I started 2nd and after a crazy start I came into the first turn 4th so I had to work… and work is what I did… I rolled into 3rd pretty quick then came the work of running down that P2 position and the final turn came I took my shot and it was a photo finish — I took 3rd but it was a great race!

Tomorrow is a new and exciting day and I’m ready to throw it down! With the help of coach Cale with Legacy Driver Development we are sure have a great day — Racing starts at 8am.

This week didn’t quite go our way, but that’s the beauty of racing… there’s always another week. 🏁

We may not have made it to the podium this time (ending in 4th), but I showed something that means even more to my parents— great sportsmanship, a positive attitude, and the ability to keep my head up when things don’t go as planned.

Racing isn’t always about winning. It’s about learning, growing, pushing through the tough days, and appreciating the people who make it all possible.

This week, I left the track without a trophy, but with a good attitude, a grateful heart, and an even greater appreciation for my parents and everything they do to help me get on the track week after week. ❤️

The hours, the work, the sacrifice, the support — none of it goes unnoticed.

We’ll be back Friday for a weekend full of Route 66 racing! 🏎️💨🏁
