Newburg Sportsmen's Club

Newburg Sportsmen's Club The Newburg Sportsman's Club is located along the Milwaukee River and Highway MY in the village of Newburg, WI. Meetings are held at the clubhouse at 7:30 p.m.

We are nestled on 37 acres of rolling and wooded terrain near the edges of the picturesque northern Kettle Moraine area of Washington county. The Newburg Sportsman’s Club sponsors several DNR approved educational programs each year. They consist of regular hunter education in the spring and late summer, trapper education in spring, and archery education whenever enough students dictate the need. M

any members over the years have become DNR certified to teach these courses. Each course focuses on a hands-on approach to learning and culminates in a field experience and course shooting whenever the weather permits. An ATV safety course taught by our local DNR Enforcement Officer has utilized our facilities as well. See more details in the Education area of this web site. Membership has been quite stable at around 80 members each year. Membership options are available at different fee levels based on new membership, renewals, NRA membership, working or non-working status. Youth membership is also available to anyone under 18 that does not have a parent as a member. Members may join at any time during the year with dues and work hours prorated for the year.
