Thanks to the Vollmar family we got an awesome video of three deer crossing the Milwaukee river along their kayak trip yesterday from downtown West Bend to Quass Creek….soooo cool!!

Hello all! Although the water level in the Milwaukee river is perfect for kayaking right now, from Quass Creek to HWY M is completely blocked by a damn of trees 😒, so please do not attempt to go any further than Quass Creek. It is great from HWY M all the way to Waubedonia right now 😀

Orenda Outdoors (OrIginally Zodiac) is celebrating 11 years in business!! 🩵👏

It has been an incredible journey from learning our local waterways to watching our darling City of West Bend embrace its accessibility to the Milwaukee River.

There are plenty of new access points along the river that we look forward to utilizing in future seasons. We encourage everyone to get outdoors, on the Riverwalk, into the parks to check out the new additions!

Now for the big news! Just like the seasons we are also making changes...

Orenda Outdoors is now under new ownership! The new owners are fully mobilized, offering kayak trips in Downtown West Bend and surrounding areas.
We would like to express our gratitude to the community as well as welcome the new owners of Orenda Outdoors to our local waterways and home 🏡 ❤️ 🏫

Thank you for these beautiful 11 years. It has been an honor to serve the community in a way that connects our guests with the rhythms of Nature. Be good to one another and keep treating our planet with respect and care. We will see you on the water and in the woods 🫶 🌎🌤🍃

We are so excited to participate in West Bends first Global Fest event. We will be facilitating the lantern float on the river walk. We are searching for enthusiastic volunteers that are not afraid to get a little wet! All Volunteers receive a goody bag and bragging rights for participating in a beautiful and memorable event. Please call 262-343-2275 to book your reservation. Last season we found new routes in the Newburg and Waubedonia areas. We are excited to share them with you this year!

Hello Orenda Friends! I am a bit late for my end of season post. It has been an interesting year with the extreme spring rain🌦 and no Fall rain.
We were asked to adapt to a new environment. In that we discovered two beautiful new routes in the Newburg and Waubeka areas. We even met some Bald eagle friends along the way! 🦅

We look forward to offering these new routes and guided tours to the community this upcoming season. For now, we hope you have a warm and welcoming winter season with family and friends.
