Tampa Bay United is excited to welcome Ged O’Connor to its coaching staff! O’Connor will be coaching the U14 Girls team at Wesley Chapel District Park, our exclusive home field.

O’Connor is currently the St. Leo University’s head coach and has an extensive coaching background. O’Connor took over as the Lions’ head coach in 2006, leading the team to the most successful season in program history. Prior to taking on the head coach title at St. Leo, he served as an assistant coach for four seasons.

O’Connor will also be leading our College Education program we are providing for our players to prepare them for the next steps in their careers.

We are ecstatic to add O’Connor to the TBU family and he will help add quality to our campus as well as collegiate experience and advice to our young athletes.

TBU Wesley Chapel will be hosting tryouts starting May 1st for all ages!

Our Junior Academy ranges U7-U10 and our Competitive teams start U11 and up.

All practices and home games will be held at Wesley Chapel District Park.

If you’re looking to develop as a player, you’ll want to register before the tryout dates.

Our older age groups for rec have finally come to an end and not without a couple champions. Here is our U12 Coed team, coached by Rudy Canales, celebrating their championship in the TARSA End of Season tournament! Congrats, everyone!
