Good things always come to those who wait.

While we learned of our license approval and were able to view our status via the Texas Department for Licensing & Regulation website, we are happy to finally receive the physical copies of our certificate and license card to complement the professional combative sports promoter license that provides opportunities through Conquista Muay Thai's pro platform.

It's go time and registration is now open for our 2026-2027 Amateur Schedule of Events set to kick off this Fall. Our Competitive Amateur platform will feature Adult Class A, B, C Categories as well as a Recreational Category with protective gear requirements for each category.

Competitive Muay Thai events are commonplace at temples in rural Thailand. In contrast, they are very rare in the United States. However, our partnership agreement with Watpa Buddhayan in Sugar Land, Texas is about to change that.

Starting this Fall and into the 2026 - 2027 Season, Conquista Muay Thai - Amateur will schedule a select series of fully sanctioned events at the Temple to spotlight Muay Thai's traditional and cultural roots alongside the action in the ring.

Our Competitive Amateur platform will feature Class A, B, C, and Adult Recreational Categories with protective gear requirements for each category.

Registration is now open for our 2026-2027 Amateur Schedule of Events set to kick off this Fall. Coaches are encouraged to submit their athlete rosters for registration via email at [email protected].

Time to stand up!

In just seven months we've invested in and developed competitive Professional & Amateur platforms for the purpose of achieving one goal: providing a safe and equitable environment for Muay Thai athletes in Texas and The Americas as well as a seamless transition for those athletes who wish to compete professionally.

Our Competitive Amateur platform will feature Class A, B, C, and Adult Recreational Categories (with protective gear requirements for each category) to provide an opportunity for fighters of all skill levels to confidently compete and grow into the Pro platform.

Matchmaking is now underway for our 2026-2027 Amateur Schedule of Events set to kick off in October (pending TDLR Approval). Coaches are encouraged to submit their athlete rosters for registration via email at [email protected].

IT'S OFFICIAL!

The Texas Department for Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) has issued an Amateur Combative Sports Association license to Conquista Muay Thai - Amateur!

As the official development arm for the Conquista Muay Thai professional platform, the amateur platform will feature Class A, B, C, and Adult Recreational Categories to provide an opportunity for fighters of all skill levels to confidently compete and grow into the Pro platform.

Interested coaches are encouraged to contact us and submit their rosters for registration in our 2026 - 2027 schedule of events by emailing complete information to [email protected] on each athlete including the following:

Regardless of how hard people try, they still can't keep a good thing down. Our advice? Try harder.

A long awaited interview with the TDLR to obtain an Amateur Combative Sports Association license was held today yielding positive results. The application process for Conquista Muay Thai - Amateur to conduct its fully sanctioned competitive events in the State of Texas now moves to its final step--receiving the license.

Registration requirements and event dates will be announced once the license has been processed and issued and will be accompanied with a Conquista Muay Thai Pro News Update. Coaches are encouraged to begin submitting their rosters of Amateur athletes with contact information to [email protected].
