Since 2013, the Boys Atlantic Northeastern Qualifier (BANE) has brought together athletes, clubs, coaches, officials, families, and volleyball communities from across the Keystone Region and beyond. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has participated in, supported, and helped make BANE a meaningful part of the boys’ volleyball season.
During the 2026 season, BANE awarded bids to 9 teams that compete at the USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championship. However, USA Volleyball has determined that this arrangement will not continue or be renewed. Beginning with the 2027 season, BANE will no longer operate as a USA Volleyball National Qualifier and will no longer award bids to the Boys Junior National Championship.
After careful consideration, the Keystone Region has decided not to continue BANE at this time.
While this chapter is coming to a close, KRVA’s commitment to boys’ volleyball remains strong. We will continue looking for new opportunities to support athletes, clubs, coaches, and officials while helping the boys’ game grow throughout Pennsylvania and the region.
Most importantly, we want to thank the many people who have been part of BANE over the past 14 years. The tournament’s success was built through your participation, dedication, and passion for boys’ volleyball, and we are sincerely grateful for the community that grew around this event.
