Your fastball velocity is no longer enough

It can act as a prerequisite to certain levels in our game but it no longer is the separator it used to be.

Additional skills you should be developing:
- Plus pitch types
- Effective pitch sequencing
- Consistent pitch ex*****on

Athletes with higher velocities and these additional skills are the ones who are getting opportunities.

Having the velocity gets you a foot in the door but shouldn’t consume your entire focus.
