So we go out find the bike we like and purchase it. Soon after that we hit that first big hill or strong headwind we realize we are not sixteen anymore and this normally leaves a bitter taste in our mouths and the bike gets garaged.

Here is a 29 inch mountain bike I built with a geared hub motor and batteries mounted inside the grey bag in the triangle. Top speed was about 20 MPH.
