Gordon College Dance Team

Gordon College Dance Team GCDT seeks to be an ever-expanding vibrant asset to the College and Gordon Athletics.

The Gordon College Dance Team was established in 2001 to provide dancers an opportunity to practice and perform at a consistently high level and to support the Basketball program. The team's style incorporates hip hop, jazz, and contemporary styles and includes technical elements such as leaps, pirouettes, and breakdancing tricks. The team performs at all home basketball games and competes regionally and nationally.

Cora joined us for her senior year and has made an unforgettable impact on the team. With her natural leadership, drive, and dynamic background in cheer and gymnastics, her unique skill set elevated our performances, and we were so lucky to have her join us for her final year at Gordon. Cora is a Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation major, and is excited to continue to grow her small business after graduation.

Nicole has been a dedicated member of the team for two years, quickly stepping into a leadership role and serving as our captain this season! She has been instrumental as a mentor, leader, and standout performer, setting the tone for excellence both on and off the floor. Currently teaching a Scientific Enterprise class, Nicole is interested in continuing her studies, with a goal of being a college professor!

Allyson has been part of this team for three years, and since her freshman season, her showmanship and positivity made her shine. After taking time to study abroad, Allyson returned to the team for her senior season with the same joy and spark that we’ve always loved. As an International Affairs and Economics major with a Political Science minor, Allyson will be entering the Peace Corps after graduation!
