🎆Happy New Year Fitness Fam! 🎇
Are you a resolutioner? Do you like the opportunity of a new year to reset and refocus? ❤️I love when The holiday hustle and bustle has settled down, I’ve completed the “week of simply existing” (does anyone ever know what day it is from Dec 26 to the 30?😜) and I can use some momentum created by the excitement of the New Year!
🎆Now is a great time to take a few minutes and reflect on last year.
-What did you learn?
-How did you grow?
-What held you back?
-What were your highs and lows?
-What was your biggest accomplishment?
-What did you enjoy the most?
🎇As you think about last year, what are the things you want to work on this year? (Spoiler alert… most of the time, you won’t have to come up with new goals… you’ll most likely be building on things you’ve done, or even last years goals!).
I like to make a list of goals to give myself a good direction at the start of the year. (I’m still working on that list and my plan for ex*****on) but I heard the word “INTENTIONAL” over and over again today at church, and it really stuck with me. Last year was a pretty great year overall, but I had a lot of days where I felt I was simply existing- Filling a time gap. This year one of my goals is to be INTENTIONAL in all the things I do- big and small. It’s on the front of my brain as I think of who I want to be and the things I want to do better this year.
⁉️Now I wanna know- Do you set goals? Do you make a plan to see those goals come to life? What kind of things do you want to achieve this year? I want to hear your health and Fitness Goals, but would also love to hear some of your mental, spiritual, personal, or family goals as well!
