Here is your make-up open tryout time! 🏊‍♀️

Stop by the Eastmont Aquatic Center on August 20th or 21st from 5:00–6:00 PM for an open tryout with Velocity Swimming!

The tryout is very low-key and is simply an opportunity for us to:
-See your child’s current level of water safety
-Assess their stroke proficiency
-Help determine which Velocity Swimming program would be the best fit
-Give you a chance to talk with our coaches and ask any questions you may have

There is no pressure—just a chance to get in the water, meet our coaches, and find the right fit for your swimmer!

City pool is closed this morning due to unhealthy air quality. We will not have the morning session of tryouts today. We will post an update on the evening session if needed, but evening session is still scheduled as of right now.

What a week in Clovis California! Our swimmers showed up and put in the work. Some stats and achievements below:

> Brian Vargas: Dropped a massive 120.76 seconds in his 800 LCM Free (11:03.87 to 9:03.11)! That's an average of 7.55s per 50 throughout his entire 800 Free!
> Caroline Sullivan: Dropped 37.00s in her 800 LCM Free (10:28.45 to 9:51.45) AND 21.04s in her 1500 LCM Free (19:05.70 to 18:44.66)!
> Ole Stiles: Dropped 7.19s in his 200 LCM Back (2:23.90 to 2:16.71)!
