Bailey did great with her MR arthrogram Tuesday, but the report still isn’t back, so today’s orthopedic appointment was cancelled and moved to Tuesday, 8/25.

For now, we’re still waiting to find out what comes next. Until then, she’s taking full advantage of the downtime… with a very committed couch buddy on duty. Waiting on answers is exhausting… apparently for everyone involved. 🐶😂

One month. Exactly to the day. 🩷🏁

It’s hard to believe a three second video clip captured what changed everything and have kept Bailey out of the seat for a month so far.

Even while she’s been away from the track, racing keeps popping up in random places, like this hotel parking lot. 😂🏁 Maybe that’s not such a bad thing.

This afternoon Bailey heads in for her MR arthrogram. No answers today, just hoping for a smooth test, calm nerves, and a girl who loves speed somehow staying completely still. 😬 We follow up with ortho Thursday to review the results and make a plan.

So while Bailey is thinking about the future, what do you think she should consider? Drop some ideas below. 👇🩷🏁

🟡 Bailey’s Season Takes a Yellow Flag.

First and foremost, we’re incredibly grateful Bailey’s injuries were not more severe. While this isn’t the update we were hoping for, Tuesday’s orthopedic appointment brought some difficult news.

The specialist suspects a TFCC tear in Bailey’s left wrist. She’ll remain in a wrist splint 24/7, and racing is on pause while she waits for an MR arthrogram. The test will help determine the extent of the injury and the best treatment plan.

This is a tough setback for Bailey because racing has become so much more than a hobby. Over the last several years, she’s grown as both a driver and a person, learned to celebrate victories and challenges alike, met strangers who became family, and earned every opportunity through hard work, countless laps, driver coaching, studying race videos, tough love and a commitment to always improving.

Just hours before the accident, Bailey bought her first dirt bike. She was looking forward to the rest of summer, trying out for the modified volleyball team, racing a few more bigger events, and traveling to some different tracks. For now, those plans are on hold while she focuses on healing.

Although she won’t be behind the wheel for a while, you’ll probably still see Bailey at the track…cheering on her friends and fellow competitors, learning from the sidelines, and lending her good hand wherever she can.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages, comments, prayers, and words of encouragement. Your kindness has meant so much to a young racer who’s anxious to get back behind the wheel.

We’ll keep everyone updated as we learn more. Right now, Bailey has one job: heal ❤️‍🩹, stay positive 💪, and get back behind the wheel 🏁 when the time is right.

After Bailey’s gnarly wreck last weekend, this weekend looks a little different.

Instead of unloading the karts, we traded her helmet for a spectator pass. Friday, Bailey got to enjoy the High Limit Sprint Cars, cheer on Rico and Gio, and grabbed a photo with Rico. Tonight, she’ll be back at the kart track cheering on our buddy Aiden.

Bailey is still recovering and has an appointment with the orthopedic specialist on Tuesday, so we’re giving her body the time it needs to heal. As much as she’d rather be behind the wheel, being healthy enough to race again is the priority.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent prayers, and reached out over the past week. Your support has meant the world to our family.

Good luck to all of our racing friends this weekend! We’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines and looking forward to getting Bailey back where she belongs—behind the wheel. 🏁💙

7.18.2026

It was just another rainy Saturday night at the track… until it wasn’t.

On the drop of the green flag in the Youth 3 Heat, Bailey’s 3E Footloose kart impacted the outside wall just before the flag stand, launching it airborne before coming to rest upside down.

She was immobilized and transported by ambulance with neck, shoulder, back, and wrist pain. Bailey said that as the EMTs secured her to the backboard, it felt like her shoulder “popped back into place,” bringing her some relief.

Thankfully, CT scans showed no fractures or internal bleeding. She’s sore and banged up, but she’s home recovering, and we’ll continue to monitor her over the next several days.

As things settled, our Bailey girl slowly started coming back. Before long, her mouth was back at full RPMs, asking for food, wanting race updates, checking on everyone else, and worrying about commitments she’d made after the races.

Our racing family once again proved to be the best staying connected to us as much as possible. Bailey missed driver introductions and the first few laps of the Unrestricted Feature because she thought she was finally getting donuts… only to discover the “donut machine” was actually the CT scanner. 🍩😂 She still made it back to her room in time to watch her bestie, Aiden, pick up the Unrestricted Feature win on Facebook Live and even got the traditional Victory Lane photo, this time from her ER bed, sporting her yellow hospital gown, which quickly earned her the nickname “Woody.” 😂

Bailey is still a little salty that the EMTs had to cut off her race suit, but we’ll gladly replace her race suit and retire her beat-up helmet. They both did exactly what they were designed to do. At the end of the day, no matter what happens on the track, every driver deserves to walk away, go home to their loved ones, and race another day.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered help, prayed, or simply kept Bailey in your thoughts as she continues to heal and recover.

Until the next green flag. ❤️🏁
