Steve Cox Racing This page is a racing page of Steve Cox, Jr. Steve races an Open Go Kart in the UAS Series and at some local tracks in Upstate Western NY, & Central PA.

My name is Steve Cox, Jr, I race an Open Go Kart. I race this in the Unlimited All Star Series in Upstate Western New York, and in Central Pennsylvania. I have been racing 2 years in an Open Modified and I enjoy racing about as much as anyone. This sport to me is just as much about as going fast and turning left as it is about the fun and good times with friends and family. I have met some of the

best people I know at the racetrack. Whether it be a Late Model race, Sprint Car race, or a Go Kart race, we are all a racing family and love this sport about as much as anyone could love anything. My son and my girlfriend as well as my family are some of my biggest supporters and are with me through the ups and downs of racing. This season has had a lot more ups than downs, but they have always been there by my side supporting me and this "Wild Ride" I enjoy climbing into every chance I can get. As many of you know I haven't raced in awhile. Well, we are gearing up for next season and getting excited about it. We had to take some time off. Pam and I bought a house. Now that we're almost settled in the new house and life. We're going to start getting ready for 2024 race season. If anyone wants shirts, long sleeve shirts, a Hoodie, or a hat. I need to know what you want and sizes so I can get them ordered. Send me a list of what you want, and we'll get them ordered this winter. We'll see you next year with a new look and ready to rock an roll!

Well, after our last outing we broke a few things. Got some fixed but we are still waiting on parts. Gonna miss another wk for the 7BL. As soon as we get it fixed we will be back to have some fun and see if we can get her dialed in. See ya all in a couple wks.

Well, the went to AMS last night to race. Right out of box had a few issues, w wiring issue during hot laps, which was an easy fix. Also realized the shifting linkage was stripped out. That wasn't as easy a fix. But thanks to the help from Ron, Josh, Kyle, Timmy, and a few others we at least got it where it was in gear and ready to roll. Went out for the heat and had a good start but about half way through it I think I got the tires to hot and looped her. Ending up finishing last in the heat cause the handling went away plus the driver needs more seat time. Pulled off the track and realized the radiator bracket broke and we were leaking anti freeze. Loaded her up and brought her home. Got to replace some parts but we'll be back. Had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves. But its called, race it, break it, fix it and race it again.
