It’s been 6 years almost since I retired from the cheer and tumble world. I do really miss teaching classes, teaching new skills to the kiddos, seeing their faces light up with smiles when they worked so hard at learning and finally mastering that skill. That’s what it’s all about right there. I do have to say that I’ve to thank the Lord for allowing me to teach tumbling for as long as I did. I’ve had a thoracic surgery where I had a large mass removed, one total reconstruction knee surgery and another one on my right knee in the near future. With all of the enjoyment I had over those 30+ years teaching tumbling I now realize I cannot do the one job I loved over the many years I’ve been in the workforce. If I could afford to buy new equipment, find a decent sized building, find trustworthy coaches I’d consider opening a new business but in today’s market those particular items/things are hard pressed to find. I really do miss the one job I absolutely loved. . . Teaching tumbling to kiddos of all ages !!!!!!
