The summer is coming to a close and what an incredible season it’s been! Ares and I moved up jumping a couple 1.40 Futures Prix; Artemis, Adonis, and I, stepped up to the 1.30/1.35 Amateurs; I revived my Hunter career with Hestia earning multiple ribbons; and Chiron and I jumped a couple 1.40 classes! I am so proud of our progress and so grateful to my team Lexi, Denis, and my best friend Abby. Thank you also to my sponsors who keep my horses in top shape and ensuring I look my best in the ring!

“Ride well and have a good time!” Over the years I’ve had many trainers say this to me again and again before I enter the ring as a reminder that we do this because we love it. This past season I spent every day in the ring loving the sport and learning from it. In the past 12 weeks I’ve become a much more independent and confident rider and I’ve formed meaningful partnerships with my horses that resulted in great rounds.

Together Chiron and I jumped my second 1.40m, Artemis and I got to know each other over two months and jumped around 1*, and Adonis and I moved up to the 1.30m classes! With more clear rounds the only way is 🆙

Quick shout out to one of the best black stallion rear moments I’ve gotten in a long while, and a 🎩 tip to for the rather heroic achievement of flying this kite & not letting it go during last week’s exciting show jumping jog at !

Some horses take it personally when sharing the stage with combined driving horses warming up nearby first thing in the morning 😅
