on’s premiere event, the Gauntlet of Polo®, takes place from February to April each winter season showcasing the world’s preeminent teams, professional athletes and finest horses which come together for three months to battle head-to-head for the coveted C.V. Open Polo Championship® trophies. Throughout the year, the facilities are also used to showcase USPA Member Clubs and prestigious national tournament competition. The entrance to the club is via a palm tree-lined drive, that leads past tennis courts to the steps of the magnificent pool and Mallet Grille. The natural Florida terrain is augmented by a large lake, lush tropical landscaping and some of the most carefully manicured polo fields in the world. Spectating from the stadium, private boxes, field side tailgates and special hospitality tents, all overlooking the U.S. Field is an unparalleled experience. 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨:
• Defeated La Dolfina/Scone 14-9 in the C.V. Whitney Cup final, capturing the first C.V. Whitney Cup title in the organization’s history and the first for each member of the team.
• Put together a four-game winning streak spanning the C.V. Whitney Cup semifinals through its opening two matches of the USPA Gold Cup and concluded the season with an overall 8-6 record.
• Facundo Llosa led all players with 95 goals across the three tournaments before the team’s run came to an end.
• Felipe “Pipe” Miguens earned U.S. Open Best Playing Pony honors in Game 1 with Ensenada Chimenea (Open Chimento x Dolfina Minera).
• Four substitutes contributed throughout the season, including Dylan Rossiter, Joaquin Panelo, Felipe Viana and Santiago Torres.
