Welcome to all our new neighbors and friends at Wycliffe! Here is some information about Florida’s Homestead Exemption which benefits those residents living in the house for a minimum of 6 months each year. This property tax exemption reduces the assessed value for tax purposes by $50,000. Homestead exemption also prevents an increase in your annual real estate taxes by more than 3%. This is especially important now when home values are soaring. Below is a link where you can make application. Don’t delay the deadline to apply is March 1st.
