⭐️ As the 25/26 travel season has come to an end, the Basketball Board would like to sincerely thank all of the coaches for volunteering your time and dedication to the youth of the basketball program.

Your commitment, leadership, and positive influence made a meaningful difference in the lives of our athletes and our program as a whole.

Whitney 3rd grade boys won their first game against Ashland 34-13 but fell short in the semi finals to Hillsdale to end their season.

"Watching the boys come each week and put in the work at practice has been fun to see! They have learned a lot and came a long way from where we started. I’m really proud of these boys and look forward to watching them continue to grow and hope to see them back on the court next year! Go Dukes!” -Coach Whitney

Pilgrim 3rd grade battled hard in the championship game but came up short, 10-6 against a very tough team!!

"So proud of the girls….this was their first year playing organized basketball and they really did a great job as a team. Our goal was for them to have fun and we had a blast this year. Hopefully they all want to play again next year and keep working at playing hoops."-Coach Pilgrim

Seabold 5th grade takes 2nd place in the Ashland League today!!🥈

"Today was pure grit and heart. We came into this tournament as a low seed, we were able to upset 2 top seeds to advance us to the Championship game. Back to back games is very hard with limited players due to illnesses, a top player not there, and injuries but they displayed, heart . I’m proud of these boys this season. Wellington has a bright future."-Coach Seabold

Whitney 3rd grade team won their first tournament game today, 41-2 against Plymouth Big Red and had 5 players score!

"The boys worked on making good passes to each other and had tough defense. We were also excited to see two of our 4th grade players and coach Ryan show up to support us!!"-Coach Whitney

Chappell 5th grade with a victory over Clearview, 37-13!! The team also played a bonus game against Brookside when their opponent didn't show, and the Dukes won 24-19!!! Way to go boys, a great season!! 👏
