Made the trip to Whynot Motorsports Park last night with our Capital Race Car 604

Had 12 really good cars sign in for the night, went out first for qualifying and ended up 3rd fastest. Started outside front row of the first heat and was able to pick up the win there, putting us rolling off from the pole for the feature! We were lucky enough to get a good start in the feature and led every lap to pick up our first win on the CRUSA 604 division, and the first win of the year!

We’ve struggled keeping up with these guys in 604, and to finally be able to run up front with some really good competition and pick up the win was major for us! Really appreciate all the other drivers that came and congratulated us after the races, it means a lot coming from yall!

Been terrible at updating here lately, and I apologize for that!
We’ve had a rough go of it the first part of our season, not much to talk about, but we’re steadily making gains on the car and will be back at it this weekend if the weather holds off!

Update from our weekend Magnolia Motor Speedway

Got a chance to run along side the World of Outlaws Late Model Series Saturday night in our 602 Blue/Gray Rocket

Had 21 cars sign in, and we clocked 4th fastest in qualifying.
Started outside pole on Heat 1 and had an awesome hot rod! We were able to pick up the win there, setting us up to roll from the pole for the feature.
That’s where the good ends. Hooked a rut in the first turn of the feature and rolled the LR tire off, causing me to spin in front of the field on the backstretch. Ended in a lot of good cars getting caught up and damaged, but thankful that everyone walked away from it. Hate it for my team to have a promising run ended so quickly, and hate it for the rest of the drivers that got caught in it as well.

One promising thing to take away is that our ole girl still knows how to get around the track! We will get her fixed up and ready to roll again here soon!

Congrats to Chace Pennington on picking up the win!

Recap from our weekend at Whynot Motorsports Park Battle of the States race

Had 31 cars sign in for our MS Crate Late Racing Series portion of the event
Started off the night qualifying 14th out of 15 cars in our group, completely burying ourselves early on. Just completely misses the setup and mistakes behind the wheel set us up for an uphill battle all night
Started 11th in B-Main 2, raced our way up to 6th to get us into the main event.
Started 18th in the A-Main, had a decent car, and finished off the weekend with a 13th place finish.
All in all, a good weekend of racing and we made gains on the car, with minimal damage, so we’ll chalk that up as a win and move on to the next one!

Congrats to Spencer Hughes on picking up the win and being there to answer any questions I have to try and find some speed to see his spoiler😂

Weekend Update

The weather finally let us get back to the track
this weekend. Made the trip to Pine Ridge Speedway Friday night. Had 7 604s sign in.
We struggled just about all night. Qualified 6th, ran 5th in the heat, and finished 5th in the feature. Track was hooked up all night and there just wasn’t much passing, but driver and car struggled mainly and that just didn’t turn out well.

Main thing is it’s in one piece and no damage, and we’ll get back to work on it this week in the shop.
Still trying to get the sweet spot on this car figured out and get better behind the steering wheel each week. Can’t thank everyone for supporting me and standing behind me when I’m struggling like I am. I promise yall we’ll be back in victory lane soon! We’ll keep pressing on and learning everything we can to put together a competitive car
