The Weekapaug Yacht Club

Founded in 1893, the WYC is located on Quonochontaug Pond in Westerly, RI.

The Weekapaug Yacht Club is open to families and individuals who reside in the communities bordering Quonochontaug Pond. Membership entitles families to participate in WYC social events, enroll children in sailing programs and kiddie camp, participate in weekly club races (Optimists, Beetles and 420s), and use the docks and facilities.

What a great kickoff for our WYC Opti Race Team at the Ram Island Regatta! 🛥️ With over 100 boats in the fleet, we had 9 sailors proudly representing. Huge shoutout to our coaches Harvey and Zach, and congratulations to our top finishers:

🏅 Henry Earle – 4th in Red Fleet, 8th Overall
🏅 Piper Horgan – 3rd in Blue Fleet, 10th Overall
🏅 Ben Salvadore – 4th in Blue Fleet, 11th Overall
🏅 Riggs Coleman – 5th in Blue Fleet, 14th Overall
