FIRST TOURNAMENT IN THE BOOKS!

What a way to start the season for the Weddington Royals Knight!

Our Royals battled through FIVE hard-fought games and earned their way into the Bronze Bracket Championship, finishing the weekend as RUNNERS-UP!

This tournament tested more than our softball skills—it tested our mental toughness, resilience, and team mentality. Through the heat, long games, and tough moments, these girls kept battling, kept believing in each other, and kept bringing the NOISE and ENERGY!

Most importantly, they finished strong and fought together until the very end.

So proud of what these girls accomplished in their first tournament of the season. This is only the beginning!

Congratulations, Royals, on a hard-fought tournament and a great start to the season!

A huge THANK YOU to Tier 1 Athletics for welcoming the Weddington Royals Knight 10U and putting our girls through an awesome speed and agility training session!
Our Royals were challenged to work on their speed, explosiveness, agility, coordination, and overall athleticism—all skills that will help them become stronger and more confident softball players.
We appreciate the energy, instruction, and attention the Tier 1 coaches gave our girls throughout the session. Providing our players opportunities to learn from great trainers and experience different types of athletic development is an important part of helping them continue to grow.

Our girls had an awesome opportunity to learn, compete, and get quality reps while working with a Division I softball player. Experiences like this are incredibly valuable for our young athletes—not only because of the skills they learn, but because they get to see firsthand where hard work, dedication, and a love for the game can take them.
Kiana, thank you for sharing your time, knowledge, and passion for softball with our Royals. We truly appreciate you investing in our girls and helping them continue to grow as players!
