The Weddington Royals wrapped up our inaugural 10U season in style finishing as Finalists or Champions in 5 of 8 tournaments!

This season was about so much more than wins…
· First-time travel ball players stepping up
· Athletes getting the opportunity they’ve been waiting for
· Girls exceeding expectations and growing every single game
· A TEAM that truly learned to play for each other.

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing families, sponsors, and athletes, thank you for making our debut season one to remember.

At our end-of-season celebration, we said goodbye to a few special players moving up to 12U, you’ll be missed for your competitiveness, your effort, and the energy you brought every day, that’s what being a Royal is all about.

Enjoy your summer, Royals! We’ll be back soon and ready to get after it for the Fall season.

And to our returning players, thank you for your hard work and dedication. We’re just getting started!

Weddington Royals Knight – 10U Silver Bracket Champions!
2026 Top Gun – Summer State Championships

What an unforgettable way to close out our spring season. The Weddington Royals Knight took the field for their final tournament together and left everything out there—earning the title of 10U Silver Bracket Champions at the 2026 Top Gun Summer State Championships.

These girls played with heart, grit, and pure determination. Every player had a moment to shine, making plays all over the field and stepping up when their team needed them most. They delivered clutch hits, battled defensively, and supported each other every inning. It was the definition of team softball.

We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, attitude, and energy these players brought—not just this weekend, but all season long. They played for each other, trusted each other, and showed exactly what it means to be a Royal.

🚨Tryout Opportunity!🚨Join Royals Thomas 12U for two tryout dates! This team is coached by two coaches who played high level softball and have great knowledge of the game. So if you are looking for a team that prioritizes player development and a strong team culture, this is the team for you! We are looking for athletes with a good work ethic, positive attitude, and a passion to grow and compete. Tryout dates are below - come check us out!
