After travelling south to Texas and then on to Arizona and enjoying temps that did not drop below 45 at night, we came back to temps that just make you want to say holy crap and go back south for a little while longer. Oh well at least we beat that massive storm last week and now I'm all certified to work on sewing machines and ready to go.
In order to not get overwhelmed I will start out servicing machines one at a time and by that I mean I will be taking appointments beginning Feb 4th. So until I get my feet wet and get into a comfortable rhythm just call me at the shop (715-866-8600) Wednesday thru Saturday10-4 and get on the appt. list and after I finish each machine I will contact the next in line.
Prices will be 89.99 for a cleaning and service and parts and labor will be extra depending on what your machine will need.
Along with the service you will get one free scissor sharpening and each sharpening after that will be 6.00 per pair and we will also be offering knife sharpening as well.
As with any new service please be patient and please don't leave messages, I prefer to speak to my customers one on one and by starting out this way I hope to build a trusting relationship with my sewing customers just as I have with my bicycle customers. Finally here are the dates that I will be closed in February, the 7th and the 18th and 19th.

Happy New Year!!!! just letting everybody know that WCS will be closed from January 8th to February 18th and then we will be introducing a new service to our lineup. Beginning January 13th I will go thru an intensive training seminar in Temple Texas to learn sewing machine repair. For the last 2 months we have been preparing to start this service and so far it has gone very well and we will start accepting sewing machines for repairs and tune ups beginning Feb.4th a couple of weeks before we officially open to start up the 2026 bicycling season! I'm really looking forward to offering this service to the community, over the past decade or so I've been approached many times on repairing sewing machines (I'm not sure why, bicycles and sewing machines don't have much in common) and now I have decided to offer both services to our area. In the meantime I will start putting up prices for repairs and tune ups for sewing machines. Bicycle repairs and tune ups will remain the same price. Thanks........Bill
