We did something awesome last night - for the first time ever we shut down the clubhouse after 5 pm so all of the employees (inside and outside staff) could share a potluck meal, family style all together at one table, and then golfed together. It was a fabulous night filled with lots of laughs and some great and some not so great golf shots. We were sad that several people weren’t able to make it but we still had an amazing time. A great way to celebrate a fantastic season before we lose several employees to school and their next steps and to give everyone the morale boost we need to finish the season strong. We are so blessed to have each and every one of these awesome team members!

Wow! What a great turnout we had for the final Sunday Funday of the season. We had 45 golfers, a beautiful day and an amazing time. A special thank you goes out to the Sunday Funday Volunteers - Linda Bauer, Bob Bauer and Kathy Dorma! You all are the best! Thanks for a great summer of Sunday Fundays. We are already looking forward to next year 😎

Congratulations to Mark Essex Johnson of Centuria, WI who got a Hole-in-One on August 14th! Mark was on hole 7 of the Par 3 Course. He used an 8 Iron on the 141 yard shot. Way to go Mark!

If you were at the golf course this week, you probably noticed that aerating of greens, collars and some fairways has started. Here is a link that may help you to understand this frustrating but necessary part of golf course maintenance. We wish the process only took us 2 days like the video suggests but with our crew and equipment it will take much longer. Please be patient with the crew and the process. It has been such a tough summer with the lack of rain. We are looking forward to improving the overall health of the greens and grounds. In the meantime do what we like to do and call that putt “a gimme!”
