Team, please help me wish this camper a healthy, heartwarming, and very happy birthday today! She has been on board since our conception, and has been loyal, supportive, and one of our brightest shining stars with her warm smile, positive attitude, and zest for life! She is an excellent teammate, and her contributions to this team are immeasurable! We hope that we have contributed to her life, fitness, health, and wellness as much as she has to our cause, and we also hope that we can be a part of many more of her birthdays to come!

Team, give yourselves a round of applause for being leaders, inspirations, and for setting the tone and the bar for the rest of the campers in this new year! I’m proud of you all for making the choice to set the bar high for yourselves, to expect greatness of yourselves, and to be an example of how essential it is to get off to a good start when needing momentum to get the ball rolling and setting a standard to be upheld! The importance of prioritizing workouts, especially when life gets busy, is paramount to the success of long term wellness. Skipping workouts can actually make us less efficient and more tired, and finding time to exercise can give us more time back in our days. The key is managing our time and making the workout a priority, not just trying to ‘make time.

Please help me wish a healthy, heartfelt, and very happy Camp Curl birthday! She’s been a trooper since the day she showed up, and one of our biggest supporters! She brings her big smile and big energy to every boot camp, and it has been a true honor to have been a part of her fitness journey thus far, and we hope to share many more birthdays with her to come! This fit family would not be the same without her!

I’d like to take a moment to recognize this gentleman! Tim-Ellie Broe is a part of the Camp Curl Fitness Family. He is the epitome of what it means to utilize your resources, to find a way and not a way out, and of how overcome obstacles in order to live a fitness lifestyle and improve his wellness on a daily basis.

He migrates to Houaton from Michigan for the winter to join us here in person, and then makes his trek back up north for the rest of the year where he logs in on ZOOM to complete virtual workouts with our team while out of town.

He’s a young 70 something, and we are beyond proud of his progress and improvement! If you’d like to be a part of a support system, a movement, and a team that cares about your success in all arenas of your life, come be like Tim and help us help you with our resources!

What’s your favorite source of protein and why?

Mine would be organic eggs, 100% free-range and cage-free of course 🥚 😉

Why?

Some of the reasons include them being easily digestible (whereas meat can be hard to break down and cause inflammation); they can contribute to a better cholesterol profile, can have health benefits for the brain, eyes, and heart, are quick and easy to make (in a variety of ways), can improve body composition, the immune system, are a complete protein source, and of course taste fantastic!
