Wild ride today on Quabbin in post front conditions. A strong northwest wind was whippin' 🌬️
Found a little relief on the west side of the reservoir... and I wasn't the only one who was on the west side😉🎣

I was going to add this info in a video, but figured I'd just write it in a post:
Most all know I fish Quabbin exclusively due to all the boat regulations and tagging system they have in place. With that said, it can be both a good and bad thing as when one keeps fishing their "home body of water."
We have a tendency to be conditioned; I see it every time I go out; same boats on the same spots doing the same thing.
I was definitely in that category of "home body of water fishing" until many years ago. For me personally, (and those that fish with me know this is truth) I just get into the mind-set of saying "Let's see what the conditions are when I get out on the Quabbin and I'll fish it according to those conditions and see what she is willing to give me today."
Amazing how making that adjustment can literally change your success rate on "your home body of water"👍

Filtered sun with a good northwest wind and the "dynamic bass duo" came out to play today. Felt like an early June day with the wind/cool temps; never thought I'd be wearing a sweatshirt in July. Video drop tomorrow!😁

Solo trip today and the bite was on. Had a south wind with blue skies & ended cloud cover and a south wind... so, I guess I can say, it was windy😂😜

Northeast wind got them going and my new Lithium Trolling Motor Battery breathed new life into my
Will never go back to a lead-acid battery again. Converted my old battery box into a "smart box"😉
All day and only used 22% = Insane. Won't need to charge for several trips 👍
