We are incredibly proud of each team. It’s hard to fully express just how much their dedication, commitment, and teamwork mean to us. Advancing to state is an outstanding achievement, and our students rose to the challenge by competing against more than 100 teams across five different categories.

Shout out to our seniors!
Our seniors were the backbone of the BBQ team and meant everything to us. While not every member was there from the start, these students stepped up without hesitation, put in the work, and gave it their absolute best—representing WISD with pride and excellence every single time. Beyond their own dedication, they became mentors and role models for our younger members, always willing to lend a hand with every task, big or small. What truly set them apart was their unwavering commitment: they showed up even when exhausted, even when facing tough situations, and that kind of character made an incredible impact on everyone around them. These kids didn't just participate in the BBQ team—they built it into something special. In the words of the BBQ kiddos- We are a family.
