State was a huge success! Weatherford Eagles sent 4 teams to Oklahoma Scholastic Esports State championship at Southwestern Oklahoma State University 's SWOSU Esports arena today!

We came back with TWO 1st place trophys and TWO 2nd place trophys! These students worked so hard for this! I'm so incredibly proud of this year's esports teams!

We are grateful for the support from our parents and community! The goodie bags put together by the parents were fantastic! We were escorted to state by our SROs Bushong and Freeborn, WPD, WFD, and SWOSU PD!

Congrats to our WHS ESPORTS TEAMS!!! We'll see them compete Dec 16th and 17th at the Southwestern Oklahoma State University SWOSU Esports arena for STATE!!! Thanks to the League for running such a great season! Oklahoma Scholastic Esports

Gabe Piccolella won 1st yesterday at our regional Oklahoma Scholastic Esports esports tournament. 43 HS students from across the state participated in the esports event. Kevin Zheng won 3rd. Connor Altland and Christian Flores also played Smash in the tournament.

Gabe and Kevin are two of the highest ranked Smash players in the state after yesterdays tournament and will play again October 28th.

I'll remember to take better pics next time!
