Hi 👋🏽 I’m Dorothea or Doe and this is why I love coaching.
I didn’t start lifting young. I started in my late 30s.
I was a mother of four, going through a divorce, working on my degrees, and working multiple jobs from morning, noon, and night.
When I first walked into a gym, I was intimidated. I was insecure. I didn’t know what I was doing, and I certainly didn’t know what I was capable of.
I know what it feels like to believe the world—and even your genetics—is working against you.
That’s a huge part of why I coach.
I get to combine the knowledge I gained through my degrees with my own experience training and competing as a powerlifter to help people discover what they are capable of.
And it doesn’t matter where you’re starting.
Maybe you want to lose weight. Get stronger. Build muscle. Move without pain. Compete. Improve your confidence. Or simply feel better in your own body.
Your goal is your goal. And I’m here to help you get there.
One of my favorite parts of coaching is watching a client set a goal—and then watching that goal evolve because they unlocked potential they didn’t even know they had.
I love seeing clients grow stronger physically, but I love seeing them grow mentally just as much.
I love hearing that their everyday aches and pains are improving.
I love seeing them show up at the gym on their own, outside of our training sessions.
I love watching someone overcome mental struggles through physical activity.
Because PRs come in all forms.
A PR can be adding weight to your squat.
It can be walking into the gym when you almost talked yourself out of going.
It can be moving without pain.
It can be doing something you were convinced you couldn’t do.
It can be finally believing, “Maybe I’m capable of more than I thought.”
I’m not here just to make people move heavy weight.
I’m here to help people discover their strength—in the gym and in life.
This is my why.
This is why I love what I do.
This is why I coach.
Because I know where I started.
And there is nothing more rewarding than helping someone discover where they can go. 🖤
SKO’DEN!
