Well this would be good

Could the Northeast be one of the biggest winners for winter storms during the upcoming El Niño? ❄️🌨️

Based on historical climatology, many areas from the Mid-Atlantic into parts of the Northeast have often experienced an increased chance of impactful winter storms during El Niño years. While every El Niño is different and this is not a forecast, it’s definitely an interesting historical signal to watch as we head toward Winter 2026–2027.

It’ll be fascinating to see how the pattern evolves over the coming months. If you’re in the Northeast, are you hoping for a snowy winter or would you rather skip it? Let me know where you’re from and what you’re expecting!

Membership Camping Comes to Race into Winter

We're excited to announce that the Town of Fremont and Race Into Winter have reached an agreement to allow Membership Camping for this year's event!

As a benefit of being a member of a club through the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association, you'll have the opportunity to apply for one of our limited membership camping sites and stay right in the heart of the action all weekend long.

This is not volunteer or racer camping, this is a spectator based experience available to members.

Here's what you need to know:

*Limited to 75 campsites, only one per membership
*If selected you must purchase one site
*Site includes first 2 wristbands
*Maximum of 6 attendees in one site
*Application submissions will open July 15
*Application submission is not a guarantee of a site at the event
*Available only to members (2025 voucher will be accepted)

Membership camping is one more way we're able to give back to our members and enhance the Race Into Winter experience.
