Our hearts are heavy. Scott Gerlicher passed away unexpectedly this past weekend. Scott and Cari Gerlicher were directors of our Minnetonka Eden Prairie and Chaska division for more than 15 years.
He was retired Commander from the Minneapolis Police Department who lead the Special Operations and Intelligence Division. In retirement, Scott continued to impact lives for the better. He helped seniors citizens by driving senior mobility vans, became the Director of Security for Minnetonka Public Schools, and helped promote and produce a concert series in excelsior called Concert in the Commons.
It's hard to fathom how quickly life can change. Scott was one of the best examples of not taking any day for granted.
Scott lived well, embraced his passions, and lived life to the fullest. Scott will be missed tremendously. Please keep Scott, his wife Cari, and daughters, Hannah, Emma, and Molly in your thoughts and prayers.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 12th at 3-7pm at The Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach, with a presentation at 5:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Breakthrough T1D & the Hendrickson Foundation in his memory.
Godspeed Scott! You and your spirit will not be forgotten.
