Last game of the season was last night. I couldn’t be more proud of this team and how much they grew, not only as baseball players, but as young men. I hope they hold on to the memories of the successes, the laughter, the hard work, and the fun we shared along the way.

Here’s a little snapshot of each player:

Sam- “UUUUU”!! Unbelievable improvement and such a polite young man!

Kai- “Kaikaze”!! Catches for days!

Mason- “Speedball”!! Fastest kid in the park!

Josiah- “Big Dog”!! Always smiling!!

Bobby- “BOBBYYYY”!! Gritty behind the plate!

Ben- “Benny Bats”!! Made contact, iykyk!

Ryan- “Ryno”!! Hit some bombs!

Maverick- “MAV”!! Strike throwing machine!

Logan- “99”!! The sword incidents!

Oscar- “44 Magnum”!! The Home-run!

A big thank you to Coach Gavin and Coach Ryan, your help and coaching was second to none. Another thank you to all the families and fans for your support!

While the weekend didn’t go the way we wanted, these boys fought the whole time. In fact, we rolled with only 8 today and almost came out on top. These boys do not quit!! Go Naturals!

This weekend your Naturals will be back in action! Come out and cheer them on!!

We are halfway through the season! Your Naturals are continuing to improve and come together as a unit. Below are some awesome stats and highlights through the halfway point.

Offensive Highlights:

Logan is sitting at a .579 batting average followed by Mason at .500 and Ben hitting at a .474 clip. Sam has gotten hot at the plate. Ben has a Homerun! Bobby and Oscar each have a triple. Josiah, RJ, Logan (3), Oscar, Ryan, and Jaxen all have doubles. Stolen base leaders Logan (29), Josiah (18), Ben (17), and Maverick (15). Our base on ball leaders are Maverick (10), Josiah (10), and Kai (8).

Pitching and Defensive Highlights:

Maverick led the way in ERA and attacked the strike zone. Logan led the way in K’s (26) followed by Josiah (19) and RJ (12). Josiah led all pitchers in innings pitched, he was joined by some inning eaters Logan, RJ, Maverick, Ben, and Oscar.

Bobby and Logan have worked hard behind the plate! Some wicked good plays by Josiah, RJ, Sam, Ryan, Ben, Kai, and Oscar. Kai, Sam, Bobby, Jaxen, Oscar, Mason, and Maverick had great catches and were rolling on their relay plays.
