The Waynesburg Sportsman Association (club) was established July 15, 1935. It became affiliated with the NRA in January of 1943. For years the club enjoyed the reputation of having one of the top shooting teams in the Tri-State area. Today we continue to enjoy various shooting events (rifle, pistol and bow) along with our fishing pond that is stocked yearly. The Waynesburg Sportsman Association co
ntinues to update its facilities as needed. Although we have grown in events, facilities and structure, we have never lost the principle fundamental of "Good Sportsmanship" and most of all "SAFETY". To us, "SAFETY" is the most important fundamental of all shooting and fishing events. We encourage members to bring their families to the club for events and fellowship. However, "SAFETY" is our main objective and consideration for all members and guests.
