From TriggerTech: "Over the past several months, TriggerTech has investigated reports of momentary delayed discharge affecting a small percentage of its Single Stage Rem 700 Diamond Triggers manufactured in 2020. Their investigation concluded it relates to a design change that was implemented in March 2020 that involved several trigger components. TriggerTech is providing an “enhanced warranty” applying to all Single Stage Rem 700 Diamond Triggers manufactured from March 1 to December 10, 2020."

Enhanced Warranty Program - Delayed Discharge Condition

Over the past several months, TriggerTech has investigated reports of momentary delayed discharge affecting a small percentage of its Single Stage Rem 700 Diamond Triggers manufactured in 2020. Our investigation concluded that the reported condition relates to a design change that was implemented in March 2020 that involved several trigger components.

In certain tolerance stack-up scenarios of trigger and/or action components, this change may result in momentary delayed discharge. The reported cases of this condition represent approximately 1% of those triggers incorporating the design change. Of the triggers returned to TriggerTech with reports of this condition, TriggerTech was not able to recreate the condition in over 90% of cases. No injuries of any kind have been reported as a result of this condition.

TriggerTech has also identified and implemented a design change which we believe will address the reported condition.

Because our customers’ satisfaction is critical, TriggerTech is providing an “enhanced warranty” applying to all Single Stage Rem 700 Diamond Triggers manufactured from March 1 to December 10, 2020.

All customers who have purchased one of these triggers can have it replaced with a trigger which incorporates the design change, with all associated costs covered by TriggerTech.
