The season has officially come to an end—here’s a quick recap:
We had a strong run at our district events, finishing as finalists at the FIM District Muskegon event presented by RENK and earning the Industrial Design Award. We followed that up as winners at the FIM District West Michigan event presented by Grand Valley State University, where we also took home the Autonomous Award sponsored by Google.org.
We advanced to the State Championships and came away as Consumers Energy Foundation Field Division winners. That performance helped us secure a spot at the FIRST Championship, where we reached the playoff rounds in the Milstein Division presented by Qualcomm Incorporated. We wrapped up the season ranked 7th in Michigan, 50th in the U.S., and 65th in the world.
A huge thank you to our Alliance 8 captain, Rochester Robotics Team - The FEDS 201, along with Teams 7426 Pair of Dice Robotics and 4421 FORGE Robotics, for being outstanding partners at the FIRST Championship this past Saturday.
We’re incredibly grateful to our sponsors—your support allows us to continually improve our robot and compete on the world stage. And to our mentors—thank you for the long nights and weekends you dedicate to this team. Your commitment makes everything we do possible.
What’s next? Once our robot returns on the semi and everything is unloaded, we’ll take some well-earned downtime before jumping back into an abbreviated offseason. We’ll focus on developing our newer team members, expanding outreach efforts, and exploring new grant opportunities to strengthen our program.
The fun never really ends—and we can’t wait to see what next season brings!
