The Sandy Burr Inner Club held the 3 Clubs & a Putter End of Year Tournament on Saturday, October 26, 2024. With over 100 players, the participants enjoyed golf, followed by beef stew and appetizers. Bob Backman, Tournament Chairman, announced the results of the tournament. A buffet lunch followed, raffle prizes were handed out and the 50/50 concluded the event. A great day was had by all. The 2024 SBIC Social Night was on Friday, August 6th. Those who attended enjoyed gathering and meeting new people. The weather was beautiful, and the putting conditions were great. The alternate shot-putting contest began and participants skills were tested. After six holes and much laughter, everyone proceeded inside. We enjoyed a light dinner of flat-bread pizza, chicken wings, fruit, cheese, crackers, and more. The scores tallied, and the winners, Rob Barnes and his wife Estela, were announced.

The 2024 SBIC Opening Meeting was held the first weekend of April. The room was filled with new and current members, all anticipating the upcoming golf season. After a welcome from SBIC President Bill Gardiner, Tournament Director Bob Backman reviewed the new SBIC Website, tournament rules and some handicap changes. Sandy Burr Inner Club (SBIC) is a men/women integrated golf club for all level players based out of Sandy Burr Country Club, Wayland, MA. As a member of SBIC you receive: guaranteed weekend tee-times ranging between 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., a USGA handicap, and handicap-based tournaments.
