💦 40 YEAR OLD POOL AND IT'S STILL GOING STRONG! 💦

We LOVE a good challenge—and this pool definitely gave us one! 😁

This now beautiful wood-wall pool is approximately 40/45 years old, complete with a coping system that has been obsolete for decades and the walls were caving in. But just because something is old doesn’t mean it’s ready to be replaced!

Our crew went to work giving this pool a whole new lease on life. 💪

🔧 We retrofitted the pool with a new liner receiver system
🔩 Secured the walls around the entire pool after discovering the original galvanized nail fasteners had rusted away
💦 Replaced the skimmer and return fitting
🪜 Replaced the cracked step strips
🏊 Re-troweled and prepared the pool bottom
✨ Installed a custom-measured liner for the perfect fit

There are just a few finishing touches left—including helping our homeowner get the pool area looking nice and spiffy again—and this 40+ year-old pool will be ready for its next chapter!

We don't always believe the answer is to tear it out and start over. Sometimes, with the right experience, a little creativity, and a whole lot of determination, an older pool can be brought right back to life. ❤️

💙 Supporting Our Community, One Local Business at a Time! 💙

Today, Huff Pool & Spa had the pleasure of stopping by OpenRoad Brewery to pick up this amazing auction basket after being the winning bidder in their fundraiser benefiting The Catz Den with Country Cat Lady. 🐈🐾💛

What a fantastic reminder of what makes Wayland such a special place to live and do business. Local businesses coming together to support local nonprofits is what community is all about!

A huge thank you to OpenRoad Brewery for hosting the fundraiser and putting together such a beautiful basket filled with goodies. We encourage everyone to stop in, enjoy a great meal or drink, and support another wonderful downtown business.

Huff Pool had a great time at Aqua Vino sampling their extensive offerings of wine and cider while viewing their eclectic and extensive offerings of some of their mainstream and rare whiskeys, bourbons, tequila etc. Add in their Italian wares for a total win! If you are a connoisseur, you cannot pass up this local shop!

From there we were off to OpenRoad Brewery to help them celebrate their 10 year anniversary while supporting the Catz Den! We bid on one of their really great auction items to support the Catz Den and we won! We support local and we support our fellow business owners!
