This clinic is built for intermediate+ sailors looking to level up their skills aboard Melges 20 sportboats. We’ll cover advanced boat handling, trim, and communication — with a focused classroom night on Friday and high-energy drills on Saturday.

We had 23 racers 🤯 out in our Melges 20s sailing fast and having fun for last Thursday’s evening racing! And we’ve got more boats to fill!

Check out the upcoming clinic - NEXT WEEKEND - 1 or 2 day options available. This is a fantastic way to get familiar with the boats in a low pressure environment with fantastic coaches to help getting you racing ready.

How many prefeeders can one mainsail eat? Three, it turns out 🫣

Very productive work party weekend! Many thanks to the dozen or so folks who put in several hours on Saturday and Sunday to replace jib furlers and mainsail tracks, check masthead sheaves, and improve rigging consistency across the fleet.

Behind the scenes..

We have boats in the water, and we are sailing fast and having fun!

This is due to the contributions of many folks across the Portland sailing scene.

Blueflash Sailing is an initiative that super-cedes membership with one specific club and has individual participants from every local organization (as well as non-club affiliated sailors) meeting up weekly to sail fast, fun, high performance boats under the guidance of skilled leaders and skippers.

We are here to Sail Different!
