Thank you to everyone who was able to join us this morning for our annual Patriot Day ceremony.

Thank you to our guest speakers for sharing your stories and experiences on 9/11 and the months that came after it.

Thank you to Cuthbertson Choir for singing the national anthem, thank you to Joey Hovis for leading the invocation, and thank you to Girl Scout Troops 453 and 3493 for leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Special thanks to Jimmy Brennan for his bagpipe performances, and to Ms. Edna Drakeford for gifting a Quilt of Valor.

New this Fall! Family Fun Nights at the Waxhaw Recreation Barn!

Are you and your family looking to spend some quality time together? Join us at the Rec Barn for an evening of outdoor games, snacks and good times! This Family Fun Night will feature outside activities such as corn hole, bocce ball, nine square, and more!

We're just 1 month away from hosting one of Waxhaw's greatest traditions, Autumn Treasures!

We are looking for volunteers to help us on October 10th to put on this amazing event. There are multiple time slots and roles available, so you can choose the one that works best for you!

The volunteer roles include:
Move-In Support
Festival Support
Barricade Monitors
Food Court Attendant!

All of these roles are critical in the success of the event, and none of it is possible without the support of our wonderful volunteers!

We had a buzzing good time at our Buggin' Out Rec Barn Fun Day last Saturday!

The heat outside was no small fry, so our indoor play space was definitely the place to bee! We had a great crowd come out to crawl, flutter, explore, and have a bug-tastic time. Thanks to everyone who joined us; we're so glad you crawled on over!

Next Rec Barn Fun Day: Saturday, September 19
Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.!
Get ready for WILD ADVENTURES! We'll be going on a jungle and safari-themed adventure you won't want to leaf early 😉

These Rec Barn Fun Days are FREE and open to all ages! Activities and crafts are usually suited for ages 8 and under, but all are welcome!
