Harper enjoyed her time at the UNC Charlotte Softball camp today. She was impressed with the new locker rooms and enjoyed her interaction with the coaches and players.

She represented Carolina Elite well with the second highest exit velocity time today!

Kevin Costner said it best in Bull Durham “Some times you win, sometimes you lose, and sometimes- it rains”. Rain got the best of us for today’s afternoon games but the girls made the most of it with a team dinner followed by shenanigans on the beach. Who will post the video of the parent player race 🤔😆

Throw back Friday??? To say Coach Otis has been coaching some of these girls for years is an understatement. The first photo is of him, KK, Harp, and Kate after winning their first travel tournament in 8u. The second photo is of Coach photo bombing Harp after winning the 8U rec league.

First tournament for the team this year and they came through with a Gold bracket runner up trophy. A LONG day on the fields (15 hours by my count) fighting heat and then rain to push to the championship game. For added adversity a 20 min delay due to the lights going out was thrown in as well. But they battled hard against a very tough team. We came up just 1 run short. Proud of what the girls accomplished today. And great job coaches getting them ready. Enjoy your rest tomorrow. No practice!!!
